What is Aromatherapy?


Aromatherapy is a holistic treatment involving the use of essential oils which have been extracted from plants to improve physical and emotional well being. Being a holistic treatment, the mind, body and spirit are all taken into account to improve the overall health of the client. Essential oils can be used in a variety of ways including, inhalation, compresses, in the bath and during a massage treatment. 

Why train in Aromatherapy?


Today the use of Aromatherapy is becoming increasingly popular due to people realising the benefits essential oils have in de-stressing the mind and body. Aromatherapy is excellent for all types of stress related issues and is becoming a specialist treatment people are actively seeking to help them through every day challenges and stresses.

This aromatherapy course teaches an advanced form of massage, branching into complementary health-care. This course will further develop your massage skills incorporating the knowledge and practical skills of how to blend your own aromatherapy oils with a full understanding of the use of essential oils extracted from plants.

You will be taught advanced Aromatherapy massage techniques enabling you to become a true Aromatherapist. 

Pre-requisite before attending this course – Swedish massage Certificate or equivalent body massage qualification
