Unless you have been hiding in a cave for the last decade, you'll know that the de-fuzzing of your honey pot (yes, that one surprised us too) is viewed as a beauty essential these days rather than a luxury. If you do not yet provide this service, you may be missing a trick!
One skill, a variety of treatments...
Although Hollywood's and Brazilian's are the most well known intimate waxing treatments, there are other options you can provide to your clients who may not like the totally bare look!
The Bikini Line
Anything that falls outside of a standard underwear line
The Extended Bikini
This takes the sides of a bikini line in a bit deeper leaving a narrower triangle on the pubic mound
The Brazilian
All hair removed except a 'landing strip' on the pubic mound
The Hollywood
All hair from front to back is removed - total hair removal
Business Opportunities
The cost of intimate waxing varies depending on your location and the products you use. For a Hollywood wax using a premium hot wax a client could expect to pay up to around £50 with the cost to the therapist being minimal!
Loyalty
If a client finds a waxer who provides a good thorough wax and makes them feel comfortable, they will be back! This gaining you a loyal client base who will book in every 4-6 weeks!
There are no shortcuts when it comes to performing an intimate waxing treatment, it needs to be quick but thorough and the client should be made to feel as comfortable as possible. Unless your client is a seasoned waxer, it's not unusual for them to feel quite anxious (Let's face it, we are talking about lady bits and hot wax here...).
