National Apprenticeship Week!

National Apprenticeship Week!

Firstly, some of you may be asking 'What is an Apprenticeship?'

An Apprenticeship is a work based learning programme. You will be able to work in a salon whilst you complete your training. It gives you the opportunity to learn, develop and demonstrate skills of your own trade in a real working environment.

Although employees take on apprentices throughout the year, National Apprenticeship week gives us a chance to celebrate apprenticeships and the positive impact which they have on individuals, businesses and the wider economy.
This week, there is a focus on showing young people that you can 'rise to the top' through traineeships and apprenticeships.
The aim, is to encourage more businesses to take on apprentices, promote the range of what apprenticeships have to offer and learning the level of success that learners can achieve.

Did you know?
There are 1500 different apprenticeships on offer in more than 170 industries!

Apprenticeships at Omni
Here at Omni Academy of Beauty, we offer apprentices!
These are both Level 2 and Level 3 Beauty Therapy and all you have to do is find a Salon of your own choice. In your salon, it is required that you have to work a minimum of 30 hours per week in your salon where you will be paid the apprentice minimum wage which is £3.30 an hour, however sometimes your employer may pay you more.
Working while you Learn, is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within a salon environment whilst maintaining the nurturing and supportive care from your training provider.
